When 350 people turned up for an open house at Sacred Heart school in Ladner, they were in for more than just a school tour.
The fifth annual event included a pasta dinner cooked by local Knights of Columbus, walking tours for new parents, and a Valentine's Day-themed dance. When the gymnasium full of guests became one long conga line, pastor Father Francis Galvan was found at the lead.
In the words of community member Ellen Fairn, "it was a huge success!"
