Winter finally comes to Queen of Peace Monastery
The Dominican sisters at Queen of Peace Monastery in Squamish finally got a smattering of snow on nearby St. Andrew’s mountain. While this means an official end to their agricultural season, the sisters are still busy completing their new workshop. Even during the renovation, some of the sisters have been hard at work making pumpkin spice, mint, and “log cabin” soaps to pair with the chilly weather outside. (Photos Queen of Peace Monastery)
