The Hallowtide Triduum unfolded across the Archdiocese of Vancouver with the Catholic community coming together to remember the entire Church: the Church Militant on earth, the Church Suffering in purgatory, and the Church Triumphant in heaven.

Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery in Surrey hosted Triduum commemorations that started with a candlelight vigil procession and singing of the Litany of the Saints on Oct. 31, All Hallows’ Eve. On Nov. 1, the feast of All Saints was celebrated with Mass, after which children who dressed up as saints lit candles for loved ones and enjoyed hot chocolate and treats. On Nov. 2, the feast of All Souls was celebrated with Mass to conclude the Triduum.
