Father Rob Galea flew all the way from Australia to perform for several Catholic communities in the Archdiocese of Vancouver.

The world-travelling priest, who has released several contemporary Christian albums, sang for more than 700 elementary students from Holy Cross, St. Francis Xavier, St. Helen’s, St. Mary’s, and Our Lady of Sorrows schools.

Waldemar Sambor, principal of St. Helen’s, said Father Galea talked about his story of conversion from a difficult life of addiction and depression. He also incorporated the theme of the school year, “I can do all things through Christ,” in his message.
