Holy Rosary Cathedral hosted a special Mass for the start of Simbang Gabi Dec. 15.
From now until Dec. 23, the faithful will gather at churches across the Lower Mainland to celebrate this nine-day Novena, a special Filipino tradition in preparation for Christmas.
