October is the month dedicated to the Rosary, and parishes in the Archdiocese of Vancouver brought their devotion out to the public square.

Local Catholics joined hundreds of groups across Canada praying to God for the conversion of Canada to Christ.

Nearly 100 parishioners of St James in Abbotsford gathered at Abbotsford City Hall for the public recitation of the Rosary, drawing honks of appreciation from passing motorists.

More than 60 parishioners from St. Bernadette’s in Surrey gathered with the Legion of Mary at Unwin Park to pray together.

In New Westminster, parishioners from Holy Spirit Church gathered outside the church to pray for peace and the conversion of sinners.
