Three Chinese priests in the Archdiocese of Vancouver celebrated milestone anniversaries in 2023. 

Father Paul Chu marked the 30th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood on Dec. 8 with Mass at St. John the Apostle in Vancouver, followed by a dinner.

Archbishop J. Michael Miller and Archbishop Savio Hon, the Apostolic Nuncio to Malta, attended along with parishioners from parishes Father Chu served at throughout his priesthood.

Father Joseph Ly, CSJB, and Father Dominic Hoang, CSJB, both of St. Francis Xavier, marked their 20th anniversaries of ordination on Dec. 27. The two priests offered Mass and then celebrated with friends, family, and parishioners afterward.
