Every February around Valentine’s Day, Father Mark Schwab and about 15-20 other men prepare a special brunch for the women of St. Stephen’s Parish in North Vancouver.
The brunch is also a fundraiser: women who participate pay a $10 deposit to save their seats, which can be returned to them or donated to a parish charity. This year, the brunch raised $350 for St. Vincent de Paul Outreach.
