On the day she received her veil, Sister Maria Consolata received an inner locution from Jesus saying, "I do not call you for more than this: an act of continual love."
The 20th century was rich with victim souls who suffered and made reparation for the sins of mankind. One such victim soul was Sister Consolata Betrone, born in Saluzzo, Italy, on April 6, 1903. Her original name was Pierina Betrone.
At the age of 13, during the busyness of doing errands, an intense prayer suddenly came forth from Pierina's heart: “My God, I love you!” and a special spiritual fervour overcame her.
On Dec. 8, 1916, Pierina dedicated herself to Our Lady. After receiving holy Communion, she distinctly heard within her the words “Do you want to be mine?” Deeply moved, and with tears of emotion, Pierina replied “Yes” to Jesus, thus entrusting herself to him.
As the weeks and months progressed, Pierina began to feel God calling her to the religious life. During the same time, she began to experience a period of spiritual doubts, dryness, and temptations. At the age of 21, after three failed attempts to enter the religious life, Pierina followed the advice of her confessor and entered the Convent of the Poor Clares (Order of Franciscan Capuchins) in Turin, Italy, on April 17, 1929.
Pierina received the veil on Feb. 28, 1930, and took the name of Sister Maria Consolata, That day, Pierina received an inner locution from Jesus. Christ said, “I do not call you for more than this: an act of continual love.”
The name “Consolata” means consoler. Sister Consolata would become a consoler of the Heart of Jesus.
Sister Consolata took final vows on April 8, 1934. On Nov. 9 that year, Sister Consolata wrote: “Jesus reveals to me the intimate sufferings of his heart caused by the faithlessness of souls consecrated to him.”
Sister Consolata worked as a cook, doorkeeper, and cobbler. On July 22, 1939, she was transferred to the new foundation of Moriondo Moncalieri (Turin), where she served as a nurse and secretary.
Christ inspired Sister Consolata to practise acts of continual love expressed in the words: “Jesus, Mary, I love you! Save souls!” Regarding this prayer, our Lord said, “Tell me, what more beautiful prayer do you want to offer me? – Jesus, Mary, I love you! Save souls! – Love and souls! What more beautiful prayer could you desire?”
Jesus told her the prayer “encompasses everything: the souls in Purgatory and the souls in the Militant Church; the innocent soul and the guilty soul; the dying, the atheist … Do not lose time; remember that every act of love is a soul. Of all the gifts, the best gift you can offer me is a day full of love. I desire an uninterrupted ‘Jesus, Mary I love You, save souls!’ from when you get up in the morning till when you go to bed at night.”
Here are some of the messages of Jesus to Sister Consolata:
“The soul that is dearest to me is the one who loves me the most.”
“Love me and you will be happy, and the more you love me the happier you will be.”
“I prefer an act of love and a Communion of love to any other gift. I thirst for love.”
"Consolata, place no limits on your confidence in me. Then I will place no limits on my graces for you!"
"When suffering is accepted with love, it is no longer suffering, but is changed into joy.”
"You must think only of loving me! I will think of everything else, even to the smallest details!"
In 1945, Sister Consolata was diagnosed with tuberculosis. She died at dawn on July 18, 1946, in the Convent of the Sacred Heart of Moriondo Moncalieri, Turin.
耶穌、瑪利亞，我愛你們！拯救靈魂！
二十世紀出現很多願意犧牲者靈魂，他們為賠補人類的罪過而受苦。其中一位是郝素娜妲.碧拓妮修女；她於1903年4月6日出生在意大利的薩盧佐；原名琵阿妮娜.碧拓妮。
十三歲時，正忙於工作的琵阿妮娜，內心突然有強烈的禱告，說：「我天主，我愛祢！」一陣特別的靈性熱切籠罩著她。
1916年12月8日，琵阿妮娜把自己奉獻給聖母。當天，她領聖體後，清楚聽到聲音問她說：「你願意屬於我嗎？」琵阿妮娜極極為感動，熱淚滿眶回答耶穌：「我願意！」自始，她把自己完全交託給耶穌。
週復週、月復月過去了，琵阿妮娜感到天主召叫她修道的聲音越來越強烈，但同時又經歷著靈性上的疑惑、乾涸和誘惑。二十一歲時，才確認清楚天主對她的召叫，要她渡修道的生活。三次嘗試進入修院都不果，琵阿妮娜遵從聽告解神師的建議，進入了嘉布遣會在意大利都靈的聖嘉辣安貧修院；時1929年4月17日。
1930年2月28日，琵阿妮娜領受修會頭紗，取道名為瑪利亞.郝素娜妲修女。那日，琵阿妮娜靈魂深處聽得熟悉的主耶穌基督聲音：「我召叫你只作一持續的愛。」
「郝素娜妲」意即「撫慰者」── 郝素娜妲修女成了撫慰耶穌聖心的人。
1934年4月8日，郝素娜妲修女發了終生聖愿；同年11月9日，她寫道：「耶穌向我啟示了那些奉獻了給祂的靈魂的不忠，如何傷透了祂的心。」
郝素娜妲修女在修院當過廚子、門丁及皮革匠。1939年7月22日，她被調派到都靈蒙卡列的摩利安道新院，任護士和秘書。耶穌啟示她以短禱「耶穌、瑪利亞，我愛你們！拯救靈魂！」去延續愛心。耶穌又說：「告訴我，有什麼短禱如『耶穌、瑪利亞，我愛你們！拯救靈魂！』── 愛與救靈 ── 更美麗？」
耶穌強調：「短禱『耶穌、瑪利亞，我愛你們！拯救靈魂！』涵括了很多：煉獄的靈魂、戰鬥是教會的靈魂、純潔及罪有應得的靈魂、無神論者的靈魂 … 等。不要浪費時間。緊記著：每個愛德工作關乎一個靈魂。眾多的獻給我的禮物中，整天的愛是最好的禮物。我期待著沒終止的『耶穌、瑪利亞，我愛你們！拯救靈魂！』── 從你早上醒來的一煞，直到你晚上上床休息的一刻。」

「我最珍視的靈魂就是最愛我的靈魂。」「愛我，會讓你快樂 ──你越愛我就越快樂。」「我寧願有發愛德和愛的領聖體比去其它的善功。我渴望愛。」「郝素娜妲，不要在對我的信任放上限制，我也不在給你的聖寵上放上限制！」「當苦痛以愛所接納，那不再是苦痛，但變成喜樂。」「你只要常想著去愛我！我會為你想其他的事，對你無微不至！」
1945年，郝素娜妲修女被疹斷患上肺病。1946年7月18日清晨，她病逝於意大利都靈的摩利安道聖心修院。
