Archbishop J. Michael Miller recently hosted a lunch for two members of the Sunni Community from the B.C. Muslim Association. A few days later he had lunch with three members of the Ahmadiyya community from Delta.

Deacon Richard Chau, the Archdiocese of Vancouver’s coordinator of Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, joined them and said listening to others’ sharing helps discover common challenges of secularization different faith communities face today. “The art of encounter through walking together is uplifting and transformative with opportunity for continuous inter-faith dialogue, cooperation and peace-building,” said Deacon Chau.
