Bernadette Leclair, a parishioner of Precious Blood Parish since 1956, celebrated her 100th birthday on July 2.  She is still reading The B.C. Catholic every week.


STA Alumni and Grade 12 soccer players were busy over the long weekend with the annual STA Alumni Soccer Classic. This year, the Alumni beat the current Senior Boys squad 8-3. Thanks to 1991 STA Alumnus, Fernando Grossling, for organizing a fun event.

Life Compass, the north-of-Fraser pro-life organization, held its annual fundraiser on Sept 10 in Lions Park, Port Coquitlam, and along the PoCo Trail. The event raised about $5,000 to support the group’s ongoing educational and outreach initiatives.
