After the Upper Room Conference last year, many inspiring stories from participants and staff who attended started to surface.
This influx of testimonials inspired the Proclaim team to gather the stories to share with others. That’s how the story campaign #WeAreProclaim was born.
Launched on Pentecost Sunday, a pivotal feast day for the Proclaim movement, #WeAreProclaim is inspired by the story-telling stylings of Humans of New York and the Archdiocese of Detroit’s I AM HERE campaign, #WeAreProclaim is sharing missionary conversion stories of people from the Archdiocese of Vancouver, encapsulating what it means to be a missionary disciple in different areas of life.
There are stories of a young woman learning how to accept God’s unconditional love. A young man learning how to overcome his fear of singing to praise the Lord. A woman who left everything she thought she wanted to serve the homeless. And many more.
Take a look at our stories on Proclaim’s Facebook and Instagram pages and website weareproclaim.com. The stories will be released gradually until July.
We welcome letters to the editor about articles in The B.C. Catholic.
