I am not pro-life only because of religious beliefs, but also because science and reason tell us that life begins at conception and each person is unique.
Each person is infinitely precious from the moment of coming into being in the mother’s womb.
Just view an ultrasound and see the baby growing. Then watch an ultrasound of an abortion and watch the baby pulling away from being killed and ripped apart.
The baby in the mother’s womb is most beautiful and precious. Yes to life and motherhood is the most ennobling, empowering, and heroic path.
Let’s make it irrefutably clear that abortion is the taking of a human life. An innocent defenceless life, in a caring and loving, humane society, would be cherished and protected.
Ultimately it is a question of human rights for the baby to be protected from the moment of conception. Rejecting life in the womb is rejecting God and his plan for mankind.
Good luck and woe to all of you pro-abortion politicians when you stand and face God and give an accounting of what you did to those babies made in his likeness and image.
If there is no protection for new life, other protections throughout society will also wither away, which is evident in the doctor-assisted suicide deaths now sweeping across the country. Doctors killing babies and doctors killing patients is a barbaric crisis of epic proportions.

I completed the government euthanasia survey and had to check off “no opinion” to all questions because any of the other answers would mean I am in favor of MAiD. I did explicitly and directly express my total lack of support for MAiD in all three comment sections.
I am a member of the Delta Hospice Society and personally witnessed the overthrow of the old board of directors during the elections last year. The current board members are not imposing their personal beliefs on anyone. They were elected by us, by majority vote, to uphold the constitution of the society, which maintains euthanasia is incompatible with hospice care. The previous board of directors gave the Fraser Health Authority approval to euthanize patients at the hospice, a decision clearly rejected by the membership at the election.
What are the Fraser Health Authority and Health Minister Adrian Dix going to do? They cannot legally dismiss the current board or dissolve the society. If they did, it would be a heavy-handed move for a government that has to show sensitivity to public opinion. They may pull all operational funding from the hospice, but they would likely be seen as the bully in this conflict.
The present board of directors has offered a compromise – taking on 51 per cent of hospice funding themselves. That’s a financially responsible win-win solution for both sides.
Question: Why would the Fraser Health Authority try to destroy a local humanitarian institution that has been treating dying patients and their families with dignity and respect for nearly 30 years?
Let the Delta Hospice Society continue treating dying patients and their families with dignity and respect. If it means not receiving financial support from the B.C. Government or Fraser Health, let it be. It will still survive because God will help the society.
