The icon on the cover of this year’s B.C. Catholic Christmas issue is Madonna and Child, painted in 2020 by Chris Kielesinski in a style reminiscent of the Renaissance.
Kielesinski, a member of the Epiphany Sacred Arts Guild, said it was a “wonderful challenge” to imitate an older masterpiece.
