PORT MOODY—More than 300 parishioners from St. Joseph’s Port Moody and St. Agnes Kim—the new quasi-parish that shares a church with St. Joseph’s—attended a joint picnic on the parish grounds in September.

Celebrating the theme of “an international day of joy and fellowship,” the parishioners enjoyed an opening performance by a Samul nori Korean music group, partook in Korean and western foods, and played contests and games.

Father Thomas Arackal (St. Joseph’s) and Father Joseph Tae Woo Lee (St. Agnes Kim) were all smiles as the parishioners enjoyed fine weather and many activities, which were directed by emcee Emerson Escano.
