Under significant pressure to win, on Friday, May 12, the SJPII Senior Ultimate Team came into the playoffs, being second place in the league. Despite the scorching sun, the players held the heat and played undefeated in all three games. In a dominant victory in the finals, the SJPII students won the South Fraser Senior Tier 2 Ultimate Champions, capping off a fantastic week of victories.

Not to be outdone the following day, the SJPII Tennis Team, consisting of an eleven-member team, competed for the coveted South Fraser AA Tennis Championship on Tuesday, May 9. After ten gruelling matches,  SJPII tied with Steveston-Langdon Secondary from Richmond. In the boys’ doubles final, the winning point in a tiebreaker game gave the school the best AA Tennis Team in the Lower Mainland. These students are now participating in the Tennis Provincial Championships in Burnaby on May 26.
