A four-day internet service outage has disrupted The B.C. Catholic’s production schedule, delaying the publication of its March 17 print and digital editions.

While the digital edition is now available, print copies will arrive in mailboxes later this week.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate our readers’ patience,” editor Paul Schratz said in a note published on this week’s editorial page.

The internet disruption affected office production, temporarily preventing staff from finalizing and distributing the newspaper on time. The team worked with the newspaper’s publishing partners Ladysmith Press, which prints the paper, Hemlock Harling Distribution Inc., which handles mailing, and Dirxion, which manages the digital edition, to ensure the newspaper was completed by Monday afternoon.
