Listening to the Spirit: Advent Discernment Retreat for Young Adults

Come learn how to listen to the Spirit to discern life decisions in peace. 

Christian Life Community in Canada is offering this retreat to provide young adults (19-39) with an opportunity to slow down, to quiet down, and to learn and practice the tools of St. Ignatius of Loyola’s spirituality to help them reflect on their lives and listen to the Spirit. Advent characters like Mary, Joseph and the Magi model for us discerning the Spirit’s leading and following it at critical junctures in their lives. A team of young adults and mentors will guide the rhythm of the retreat including getting to know each other, prayer, song, input, quiet time for individual prayer and then small group spiritual conversation. Homemade hearty meals, time in nature, rest and opportunities for meditation, centering prayer and art will punctuate the days.
