Parishioners experienced a unique cultural event Jan. 20 as Immaculate Conception Parish in Delta hosted a Mass, outdoor vigil, and meal in honour of the Feast of Santo Nino.

The historic Catholic festival is celebrated widely in the Philippines and honours a sacred image of the Infant Jesus. Dozens of families brought their private statues to the church to be blessed during the celebration.

Father Amador Abundo, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, celebrated the Mass and led the procession with his own Santo Nino statue.
