Hong Kong cardinal visits Vancouver

VANCOUVER—Cardinal Joseph Zen, who retired as bishop of Hong Kong in 2009, had a series of visits and talks with local Catholics during a recent visit to Vancouver.

He discussed the Vatican's relations with China with Archbishop J. Michael Miller Aug. 31. He also visited Canadian Martyrs Parish Sept. 2 to give a presentation, celebrate Mass, and sit down for a community dinner.
