VANCOUVER—It's official: Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, the Archbishop of Manila, is packing his bags and getting ready to give a public address in Vancouver this March.

Cardinal Tagle is known for pronouncing passionate speeches, including his address to the International Eucharistic Congress on "cultural intelligence" in Cebu in 2016, and is much loved by the Filipino community in the Lower Mainland.

Cardinal Tagle will speak at Queen Elizabeth Theatre March 19 at 6 p.m. Organizers say the venue can hold 2,700 and are already bracing for a quick sell-out.

Tickets are not on sale yet; more details will be published in The B.C. Catholic and at when they become available.
