VANCOUVER—The Archbishop of Vancouver paid a special visit to a non-profit seniors' residence this summer.

Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB, dropped in on Columbus Residence Aug. 12 to celebrate Mass with residents, family members, pastoral care volunteers, staff, and board members.

Independent Housing Manager Holly Martin-Thompson called it a "wonderful opportunity" for the seniors to meet the archbishop.

We are very thankful to his Grace for fitting us into his busy schedule and making time for our community.

Columbus Residence, established by the Knights of Columbus, offers complex and dementia care as well as independent housing. It also offered Archbishop Miller and residents some tea and cookies after Mass.
