The world needs more love, and an inspiring film on the life of Mother Teresa can do just that, say the people behind Mother Teresa: No Greater Love, which will return to Cineplex theatres in British Columbia this weekend.
The documentary, which had a previous limited showing in Vancouver in November, will be in B.C. theatres Sunday, Jan. 22, and Monday, Jan 23.
The film was shown in Toronto before a large audience Thursday. In attendance were Toronto Cardinal Thomas Collins and Sister Bernice, a missionary sister of Charity based in Canada who knew and spoke about Mother Teresa.
Produced by the Knights of Columbus, a portion of revenues from ticket sales will be directed to charitable purposes and efforts that advance the legacy of Mother Teresa.
