Green Mass for Mental Health 2026

Join the Archdiocese of Vancouver Mental Health Ministry for the 2nd Annual Green Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Richard Smith.

The Green Mass is an opportunity for the faithful to gather in the Holy Eucharist and pray for God’s blessing upon those who experience mental health challenges and those who support them either as mental health professionals, lay ministers, or family and friends. The evening will bring together those involved in this work to seek God’s guidance and find encouragement among others who share in this mission.

The Mass will also be offered for individuals and families who have been personally affected and are seeking healing.

Mental health professionals, counsellors, therapists, advocates, ministry leaders, caregivers, families, those interested in serving in mental health ministry, and people personally experiencing mental health challenges are warmly invited to this special gathering of prayer and reflection.

Come be encouraged, find support in community, and be strengthened by our shared hope in God.
