This inaugural annual lecture has been established to honour the life and legacy of Dr. Vincent Paul Sweeney, a distinguished neurologist, educator, and pioneer in medical ethics in Canada.
The topic will be “What Catholic Ethics Can Offer Canadian Healthcare” and the speaker will be Rev. Dr. Mark Miller, C.Ss.R.
The lecture will explore important questions in healthcare ethics through the lens of Catholic social teaching and Christian morality.
