Missionaries of Charity still thriving in Vancouver archdiocese

Local Missionaries of Charity introduced their new superior to Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB, recently.
Sister Mary Hema Kerketta, the current superior, is retiring. Her place will be taken by Sister Xaveria Bilung.
Also on hand was their provincial, Sister Sharbel Kolodiejchuk. She is the sister of Father Brian Kolodiejchuk, a member of the Missionary of Charity Fathers, who is the postulator for the cause for canonization of Blessed Mother Teresa.
Blessed Mother Teresa established the community in Vancouver during a visit in 1988.
